Eastern Washington Data Center Locations

Current Data Centers in the Spokane and Surrounding Areas

  • Quincy: Quincy, George, Ephrata corridor - Largest concentration. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Yahoo, Sabey, Vantage, CyrusOne, and many others. Dozens of facilities.
  • Moses Lake: Moses Lake, Grant County - Microsoft (very large campus), Meta (Facebook), and several others expanding rapidly.
  • Wenatchee:  East Wenatchee  Chelan County  Apple, Microsoft, and smaller facilities. Good hydro power from Chelan PUD.
  • Spokane: Spokane Valley,  Spokane County Smaller scale. Several colocation and enterprise facilities (Sabey, H5, etc.).
  • Ellensburg: Kittitas County and Emerging area. Some development by Vantage
  • Pasco / Tri-Cities: Franklin & Benton Counties Growing. Amazon, Meta, and industrial-scale projects.

Data Centers/Sub Stations in the Spokane Area: Spokane has a much smaller and more specialized data center presence compared to the massive hyperscale campuses in Quincy and Moses Lake. It functions primarily as a regional hub for colocation, enterprise, government, and mid-sized cloud facilities rather than the giant hyperscale builds seen elsewhere in the Columbia Basin.  Recent trends show increased interest in Spokane as a lower-cost, lower-risk alternative to the overcrowded Quincy corridor.
